Tussey Raps Ozark for 5 Hits Monday, September 5th, 2044 No matter what the Ozark Outlaws threw at him today, Bob Tussey hit it. He easily handled Outlaws pitching, going 5 for 7 and helping the Monuments to a 20-4 triumph at Incest Stadium. He told BNN reporters in the postgame interview, "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball." The Ozark skipper quipped, "Well, the next time we might just do that... blindfold him... and then pitch him differently, just to be sure." Bob Tussey flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. This year Tussey is hitting at a .270 pace with 21 home runs and 72 RBIs. He has played in 131 games and scored 67 times. |
