Bearers, Launch Confirm Swap Sunday, June 8th , 2064 The Baseball News Network is reporting that St. Paul and Cape Canaveral have agreed in principle to a swap that will send 25-year old C Dan O'Gill to the Launch with 26-year old minor league RHP Scott Miller joining the Bearers. St. Paul general manager Mitchell Slacko would not confirm the trade, but a team representative close to the negotiations said the deal is official and is now only awaiting approval from the league. Cape Canaveral will retain a portion of Miller's remaining contract. So far this season O'Gill is batting .264 with 5 home runs. This season Miller has a 2-4 record with a 9.62 ERA in 8 starts. |
