Crab Apple Cove, Keg Creek Trade Players Saturday, July 30th , 2072 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Mashers announced today the acquisition of 35-year old RHP José Martínez from the Keg Creek Coyotes in exchange for 24-year old minor league RF Kelsey Strong. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Mashers, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." So far this year, Martínez has delivered 2 saves. In 30 relief appearances he has 43 strikeouts in 35.1 innings with a 4.84 ERA and 7 wins and 6 losses. |
