Hitting Streak Still Alive for Wilson Friday, July 26th, 2058 David Wilson continued his streak at Coyote Den Stadium today, even as the ballgame did not go his way. The Keg Creek right fielder was 2-for-4 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 20 games. The Coyotes were not as fortunate, losing 4-1 to the Amarillo Chicken Haulers. "Wilson was hitting everything we threw at him," said Amarillo manager James Walker. "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame today and we came away with a win." David Wilson flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and singled in the 8th. So far this year in 92 games Wilson is hitting .379 with 8 home runs, 45 RBIs and 70 runs scored. |
