Those were the comments heard after the Laredo Border Jumpers came to an agreement to deal 20-year-old minor league SS Andrew Miller and 21-year-old minor league RHP Louie Nelson to the Iowa Crop Circles for 28-year-old CF Wilson Byers, 23-year-old RHP Keith Houston and 21-year-old minor league CF Tomokazu Kouda earlier today. The deal is expected to be formally announced later this evening. So far this season, Byers has recorded a .243 batting average with 53 hits, 7 home runs, 28 RBIs, 27 runs scored and a .291 OBP. |
