Outlaws, Cheesesteaks Trade Players Sunday, July 15th , 2068 After prolonged negotiations Ozark agreed to ship 31-year old RHP Amado Ortíz and a 4th round draft pick to Philadelphia for 22-year old minor league LF Jesús Sandoval. The deal is awaiting confirmation from the league office but neither team expects any hang-ups. "It took longer than expected," said one GM, "but we knew that the deal was going to happen." In 16 starts this season, Ortíz has picked up 4 wins while suffering 8 losses. He has pitched 85.1 innings, allowed 95 hits, struck out 78 and posted a 3.48 ERA. |
