Honolulu's Bright Gets AP Player of the Week Monday, July 24th, 2056 At the age of 27, Paul Bright might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Honolulu first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .480 batting average. For his efforts Bright collected the Appalachian Player of the Week Award. He racked up 12 hits in 25 at-bats, 5 home runs and 12 RBIs last week in 6 games. This year Bright has hit 22 home runs and posted a .343 batting average. |
