Ravens End Bright's Streak Sunday, August 11th, 2058 The Richmond Ravens pitching staff did its job today, holding hot-hitting Paul Bright hitless in 1 at-bat during the club's 5-4 victory over the Honolulu High Life at Battle Field. The disappointing performance ended a 26-game hitting streak for the first baseman. "I'm a little down right now," Bright said after the game. "I couldn't get anything going when the team needed me, and I hated to see the streak end, too." Thus far this year Bright has hit .408 with 19 home runs and 87 RBIs. |
