5-Hit Blitz by Lewis Tuesday, August 18th, 2054 Fans at Champagne of Beers Field got to see not only a home-team victory today, but also one of the most impressive feats of hitting of the season. The Honolulu High Life outplayed the Amarillo Chicken Haulers en route to a 10-3 win, but the standout was shortstop Blake Lewis. Lewis netted 5 hits in 5 at-bats and finished with a dynamite game line. "Hey, we tried everything we could think of to get him out," Chicken Haulers manager James Walker said in his postgame comments. "We threw everything but the kitchen sink against him and he hit it. Maybe we should've thrown the sink, too." Blake Lewis singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 7th.
