Oakes Belts 5 Hits Sunday, July 6th , 2064 Glacier Bay right fielder Clement Oakes had a day to remember today, 5-for-6 against the Boston Revolution at Jackie Robinson Place as the Ice Pirates picked up a 11-8 victory. "He was patient up there today," Glacier Bay skipper Matt Lehrer told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Oakes has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Clement Oakes tripled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Eduardo Cortéz in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
