6-Hit Game for Ward Thursday, July 10th , 2064 Roy Ward really sizzled at the plate in today's 18-1 win over Rum Runners. The Richmond left fielder blistered Orlando for 6 hits in 6 at-bats. "Ward was too tough to get out today," the Rum Runners skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Roy Ward singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Chris Clark in the 8th.
