Launch End Hall's Streak Friday, July 11th , 2064 The Cape Canaveral Launch pitching staff did its job today, holding hot-hitting Reginald Hall hitless in 4 at-bats during the club's 5-3 victory over the Keg Creek Coyotes at Coyote Den Stadium. The disappointing performance ended a 24-game hitting streak for the shortstop. "I'm a little down right now," Hall said after the game. "I couldn't get anything going when the team needed me, and I hated to see the streak end, too." Hall is batting .337 with 23 home runs and 79 RBIs this season. |
