Jones Strokes 5 Hits Thursday, July 29th, 2060 St. Paul Bearers second baseman Jake Jones really lit up the Newark Falcons with a 5-hit barrage today at Falcons Field -- a performance that sparked the Bearers to a 9-6 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Jake Jones singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 7th, walked in the 9th and hit a two-run single in the 10th.
