Hits Galore: Romano Drills 5 Hits Sunday, August 20th, 2056 All game long, Washington's Joaquín Romano was rattling the walls at The Grand Lodge and banging out base hits against the Keg Creek Coyotes. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Monuments had a 11-8 victory. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 25-year-old catcher said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Joaquín Romano singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
