Cheesesteaks Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Monday, September 19th , 2072 Steve Baker said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Philadelphia Cheesesteaks after they missed the Pioneers of the Diamond playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2070. In total, the Cheesesteaks have missed the playoffs 47 times in their 59-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Cheesesteaks have missed the playoffs 3 times. Philadelphia last won the Round 4 in 2064. |
