Rehab Setback For Roy Ward Monday, September 11th, 2056 Just when it looked like Roy Ward would soon return to the Michigan Militia, the center fielder suffered yet another setback in his recovery from an oblique strain. According to his doctors, treatment was progressing well until yesterday, when Ward experienced quite a bit of pain during a workout. Further examination revealed he had caused more damage and would now be disabled for at least 3 weeks. Currently Ward is batting .251 with 19 home runs and 64 RBIs. |
