Coyotes Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Tuesday, September 12th, 2056 The Keg Creek Coyotes were stuck in the middle this season -- not competitive enough in the playoff chase to be considered relevant, but not far enough behind to be completely written off. Until now, that is -- today, the Coyotes were mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. The Coyotes have missed the playoffs 36 times in their 42 years as a Pioneers of the Diamond franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 5th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2050. In the last 10 seasons, the Coyotes have missed the playoffs 4 times. |
