Thursday, August 17th , 2073
Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Glacier Bay's 10-8 win over St. Paul, left fielder Craig Johnson was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Liquor Luge.
"To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Johnson said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close."
Craig Johnson hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Mauro Zarate in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
This season, Johnson is swinging the bat at a .293 pace. He has hit 12 home runs and scored 52 times, while driving in 61. His on-base percentage is .321 and he has played in 104 games.
