Armstrong and Careno Fight, Get Suspended

After an intense confrontation, both the Launch Mark Armstrong and the Storm Alfredo Careno were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Cape Canaveral-West Island game. Mark Armstrong will miss 3 games, while Alfredo Careno was suspended for 7 games.
"Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Mark Armstrong commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play."
To date this year, Armstrong is batting .211 with 18 home runs.
To date he has nailed down 4 saves for his club. In 49 relief appearances, Careno has 80 strikeouts in 69 innings with a 4.70 ERA and a 6-8 mark.
