Border Jumpers Mathematically Out of Playoffs Sunday, August 27th , 2073 As bad as the Laredo Border Jumpers have been this season, some may still find it hard to believe that this early in the season, the team is already officially eliminated from playoff contention. The Border Jumpers have made the playoffs 20 times in their 60 years as a Pioneers of the Diamond franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 3rd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2070. In the last 10 seasons, the Border Jumpers have made the playoffs 5 times.
