Postseason Bid Ends for Orlando Monday, September 27th, 2055 The Orlando Rum Runners quite simply didn't have what it took this year. The club was formally eliminated from playoff qualification in 2055. "It feels bad," said Rum Runners third baseman Chris Landry, when asked for his response by reporters. "Having your biggest hopes of the year dashed feels bad." Orlando last appeared in the postseason in 2052. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 34 times in their 40-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Rum Runners have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
