Bad News for Boston, Guy Lucas Hurt Friday, August 5th , 2067 The Revolution received bad news this morning. Guy Lucas will miss 5 weeks due to bone marrow edema in his wrist. He sustained the injury in the Boston-Philadelphia game while being hit by a pitch. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Lucas sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery." Lucas is hitting at a .326 mark this season. His stats show 14 home runs, 41 RBIs and 53 runs scored. He has played 89 games for the Revolution. |
