Roberto Suárez to Miss 4 Weeks Sunday, August 27th , 2073 It took the Havana team doctor a while to realize it, but first baseman Roberto Suárez won't simply play through an oblique strain after he got hurt colliding with a player at a base in today's Crop Circles-Comrades game. At first, it looked like Suárez might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 4 weeks. This year, Suárez is batting .262 with 123 hits, 20 home runs, 67 RBIs, 51 walks, .340 OBP and has scored 58 runs. |
