AP Player of the Week Named Monday, August 19th , 2075 When it came to hitting the baseball, Yun-qi Sun was in a class by himself in the Appalachian this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding first baseman for Orlando tagged opposing pitchers for a .423 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 11 hits in 26 at-bats, 4 homers, 5 runs scored and 11 RBIs. Thus far this season in 111 games, Sun is batting .303 with 27 home runs, 83 RBIs and 69 runs scored. He has 127 hits in 419 at-bats. |
