Rehab Setback for Gonzalo Martínez Saturday, August 24th , 2075 It was learned today in St. Paul that reliever Gonzalo Martínez would miss more time because his recovery from elbow inflammation was not going as well as expected. The Bearers, however, were quick to relay that the setback did not seem to be serious and that Martínez would only miss 3 weeks more. Martínez has made 21 relief appearances this year and notched 3 saves. To date in 20 innings he has a 2-3 record, 4.50 ERA with 19 strikeouts and 6 walks. |
