5-for-5 Day for López Tuesday, August 11th , 2065 It was a sensational day at the plate for Francisco López as he led the charge to a 6-4 win over the Diablos. The Redstone left fielder was pure misery for the Mexico City pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "López put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Terry Farrand, manager for the Diablos, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Francisco López singled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Stan Webb in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
