Storm Owner Dead, West Island Mourns

It was learned today that Brad Pugh, the owner of West Island Storm, had passed away. No cause of death was announced. The elder Pugh has been suffering health problems for the last few years and had already turned over much of the team operation to his son, Brad Pugh Jr.. Speaking for the family, the West Island general manager said that Brad would assume the club presidency and handle day-to-day operations. The younger Pugh Jr. is reputed to be economizer in fiscal matters and lenient in personnel relationships.
