Redstone's Pérez Out 6-7 Weeks Saturday, August 10th , 2069 The Redstone Ridge Raptors will have to make do without Dale Pérez for 6-7 weeks. He suffered a strained abdominal muscle while running the bases in the game today against the Mexico City Diablos. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the first baseman. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." So far this year Pérez is batting .240 with 17 home runs, 56 RBIs and 37 runs scored. |
