Railbirds Heading to Round 2 Wednesday, October 4th , 2073 After their 10-3 win today at Corona Field over the Mexico City Diablos, the Reading Railbirds will advance to the Round 2. Reading won the series by a 2-0 margin. Leading the way for the Railbirds was shortstop Eugene Bonner, who had a spectacular series and was named MVP. "I don't play differently in the regular season or playoffs. I just go out and do my best every game," he said. "It's certainly nice to play in the big game, but you can't let it get to your head and change your focus." The Reading Railbirds will play against the Glacier Bay Ice Pirates in the next round.
