Rehab Road Tough For Launch Luis Bautista Monday, November 19th, 2057 Cape Canaveral second baseman Luis Bautista has suffered a setback in his recovery from a fractured rib. According to Launch officials, he will be out of action for 2-3 weeks. "Doctors are concerned with the rate of healing and have decided that Bautista will need additional time in rehab before he will be cleared to play," one team spokesman explained to reporters. In 758 career games Bautista is hitting at a .268 pace with 573 hits with 114 doubles, 18 triples and 30 homers while scoring 246 runs and racking up 206 RBIs. He logged 156 walks and owns a .320 on-base percentage. |
