Ravens, Emperor Penguins Make Deal Tuesday, November 17th, 2048 BNN has learned the Richmond Ravens have reportedly worked out a deal with the Vermont Emperor Penguins. Sources close to the Ravens indicated that a trade has been reached in principle where 27-year-old RHP John Carrasco, 28-year-old RHP Matt Chapman and 25-year-old C Juan Quintero will be swapped to Richmond with 23-year-old C Javier Ruíz and 31-year-old RHP Howard Carter heading to Vermont. Neither organization would comment on the report, saying it was club policy not to speak about a trade until it was finalized. In his career stats Ruíz has compiled a .309 batting average and collected 555 hits, 108 home runs and 340 RBIs. During his career Quintero has notched 258 hits and a .250 average with 16 home runs and 109 RBIs. |
