Crop Circles Come up Short of Playoffs Sunday, September 25th , 2072 The playoff hopes of the Iowa Crop Circles have been extinguished for the year. Today, the team was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the 2072 postseason. "It's weird, yesterday we were all talking about what we needed to do to make it to the Round 4 and now we're just counting down the days until the offseason, said Crop Circles reliever Andrew Moore. This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2070. In total, the Crop Circles have missed the playoffs 23 times in their 59-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Crop Circles have missed the playoffs 7 times. Iowa last won the Round 4 in 2037. |
