Ravens Come up Short of Playoffs Wednesday, September 28th , 2072 The Richmond Ravens season has ultimately ended in disappointment. After staying in the hunt until the final days of the season, Richmond has now been officially eliminated from playoff qualification. "We were so close," starting pitcher Stephen Dundee said wistfully. The Ravens have missed the playoffs 47 times in their 59 years as a Pioneers of the Diamond franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 4th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2068. In the last 10 seasons, the Ravens have missed the playoffs 3 times. |
