No Late-Season Magic Coming: Amarillo Out of Playoffs Friday, September 30th , 2072 At times during the season, it seemed like the Amarillo Chicken Haulers might put together a promising campaign, but it was not to be. Today, the Amarillo Chicken Haulers are left waiting for next year after being mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. The Chicken Haulers have made the playoffs 14 times in their 59 years as a Pioneers of the Diamond franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 5th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2067. In the last 10 seasons, the Chicken Haulers have only made the playoffs once. Amarillo has won the Round 4 2 times in their history. |
