AP Best Hitter Trophy Goes to Acevedo Saturday, October 1st , 2072 José Acevedo may be much younger than other hitters in the Appalachian, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in September to win the Batter of the Month award. The 24-year-old Michigan first baseman hit .323 with 9 home runs, 25 RBIs and 15 runs scored. This season, Acevedo is batting at a .292 clip with 36 home runs and 115 RBIs. |
