Great Month for AP Rookie Saturday, October 1st , 2072 José Acevedo's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Michigan first baseman has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In September he was voted the Rookie of the Month. During the month he hit .323 with 5 doubles, no triples and 9 home runs. Acevedo also scored 15 times and drove in 25 runs. Acevedo is batting at a .292 pace this season, picking up 167 hits in 572 at-bats with 36 home runs, 115 RBIs and 74 runs scored. |
