Ruíz Thwarts Orlando, 6-0 Monday, September 15th , 2070 Brandon Ruíz of the Washington Monuments humiliated the Orlando Rum Runners at The Grand Lodge today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 3 hits. "He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Orlando manager Brett Jackson, after the game. Ruíz whiffed 7 and walked 1 in the 6-0 win. "If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Ruíz said. "I was making good pitches the entire game." This year Ruíz has recorded a 5-6 mark.
