Clayton Connects for 3 Homers for Monuments Thursday, September 19th, 2058 It was a terrific day today for Andrew Clayton, who ripped three home runs at Hot Box, and a disappointing one for the Washington Monuments who nevertheless dropped the game to the West Island Storm. "He was instant offense today," Washington skipper Washington GM said. "Andrew really put on a show. He more than did his part. We just didn't come through with hits at the right time to win the game." For the day, Clayton collected 3 hits in 3 at-bats, scored 4 runs and had 6 RBIs. In the postgame press conference he told the reporters he has always liked to hit at Hot Box. "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good," he said.
