Rick Ball Out with DTD Injury Friday, August 15th , 2064 Glacier Bay team officials speculated whether star starting pitcher Rick Ball would be scratched from today's ballgame after he suffered a stiff back in yesterday's matchup with the Philadelphia Cheesesteaks. Ball denied reports that he would miss a lot of time, but added that he would not risk further injury by playing. Checking out his stats for the year, Ball has racked up 15 wins and 7 losses in 24 starts, 2.53 ERA and struck out 232 batters in 174.1 innings. |
