Rouse Put on Shelf, Listed DTD Tuesday, September 23rd , 2070 Reading's star center fielder Dave Rouse injured himself in a game against the Glacier Bay Ice Pirates, prompting the team to list him as day-to-day. The doctors are reporting the injury as knee tendinitis and they say the best medicine is a short period of rest. "Hopefully I don't get replaced by some hotshot wannabe," said Rouse with a smile as he talked to reporters. This season Rouse is hitting .311 with 158 hits, 20 home runs, 78 RBIs, scored 72 runs and played in 133 games. |
