Ouch! Jeremy Watson Shelved by Injury Friday, September 7th , 2068 Iowa fans will be disappointed to learn that Jeremy Watson suffered a strained back muscle while throwing the ball in today's game. After the doctor informed the Iowa Crop Circles manager that Watson was expected to miss 3-4 weeks, the manager told the press that the rest of the team would have to step up their play until the right fielder could return. "You can't make excuses in baseball, because there's always a game tomorrow," said the team's skipper. So far this season Watson has hit .275 with 21 home runs, 70 RBIs and scored 65 times. |
