Star of the Week Picked in FR Monday, August 18th , 2064 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Frontier, but last week Derrick Thomas of the San Jose Cuervo reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Thomas rocked opposing pitching for a .609 average (14-for-23), 2 home runs and 10 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Thomas is hitting at a .364 pace with 21 home runs and 83 RBIs. He has played in 110 games and scored 88 times. |
