Michigan Takes Round 3 in Deciding Game Sunday, October 23rd , 2072 The joy and relief on the faces of the Michigan Militia players was obvious as they celebrated their Round 3 win over the Cape Canaveral Launch. "In a series like this, the smallest thing can make the difference in how it turns out," said Michigan center fielder Tex Scott, shortly after the 5-3 win that clinched the series 4-3. "We're happy we did what it takes to get it done." The team is now off to the Round 4. Scott won series MVP honors on the strength of his .483 batting average during the series. He also had a .516 on-base percentage and 1 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Michigan Militia will play against the Reading Railbirds in the next round.
