Vermont Eliminated from Playoff Contention Wednesday, September 30th , 2076 Kevin Tucker, the manager of the Vermont Lake Monsters, said his players are "devastated" to have missed the playoffs. Today it became official -- the club has run out of games and was mathematically eliminated from qualifying. This is the club's 5th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2071. In total, the Lake Monsters have missed the playoffs 41 times in their 63-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Lake Monsters have made the playoffs 3 times. Vermont last won the Round 4 in 2068. |
