Setback for Comrades and Floyd Gibbs Wednesday, August 27th , 2064 Floyd Gibbs, center fielder for the Havana Comrades, was making great progress in healing chronic back soreness according to a team spokesman, but suffered a setback yesterday. "Floyd was doing great in his rehab until he overdid it in a recent workout. Now doctors say it will be at least 3-4 weeks before he will be able to rejoin the club." Gibbs is hitting .232 this year with 4 home runs and 32 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .328, 52 walks and scored 51 times. |
