More Injury Problems for Mexico City's Mitch Spence Friday, October 2nd , 2076 Just when it looked like Mitch Spence would soon return to the Mexico City Diablos, the shortstop suffered yet another setback in his recovery from bone marrow edema in his knee. According to his doctors, treatment was progressing well until yesterday, when Spence experienced quite a bit of pain during a workout. Further examination revealed he had caused more damage and would now be out of action for at least 3 weeks. So far this year, Spence is batting .253 with 15 home runs and 72 RBIs. |
