Philadelphia's Baker Takes 2074 Diamond Hammer Award Thursday, November 22nd , 2074 Steve Baker has been around Pioneers of the Diamond enough to know a good hot streak when he sees one -- and he got to see one firsthand all year. For his standout run through the 2074 season, he's taking home the Diamond Hammer Award in the Frontier. The Philadelphia center fielder put up a batting average of .323 with 49 doubles, 6 triples, 33 home runs and 77 RBIs. He received 27 first place votes out of a possible 28. Mabuchi Fujihara of the Glacier Bay Ice Pirates finished second in voting, while Roberto Clemente of the Reading Railbirds finished third.
