Postseason Bid Ends for Amarillo Saturday, September 25th , 2066 The Amarillo Chicken Haulers quite simply didn't have what it took this year. The club was formally eliminated from playoff qualification in 2066. "It feels bad," said Chicken Haulers reliever Victor Shelton, when asked for his response by reporters. "Having your biggest hopes of the year dashed feels bad." The Chicken Haulers have made the playoffs 13 times in their 53 years as a Pioneers of the Diamond franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 15th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2051. Amarillo has won the Round 4 2 times in their history. |
