West Island , Glacier Bay Trade Players Sunday, December 23rd , 2074 It's all done except the paperwork. The West Island Storm and the Glacier Bay Ice Pirates have agreed to a trade that will send 32-year old RHP Vincent Curtis to Glacier Bay, while 20-year old minor league 2B Ian Durney, 16-year old minor league 3B Ning Quan, and a 3rd round draft pick will be shipped to West Island . A top front office executive with the Storm described the trade talks as "quick and easy." "We're glad to get this deal done. We think it's something that helps our ball club and it didn't take too long at all to sort this one out," he said. West Island will retain a portion of Curtis's remaining contract. Curtis's career numbers include 14 wins and 22 losses in 228 games with 96 saves, 3.36 ERA and 301 strikeouts in 265 innings. Opposing hitters have averaged .251 against him. |
