Iowa Cruises to Frontier Northern Crown Sunday, September 5th, 2060 The champagne was flowing in the Iowa Crop Circles clubhouse today, as men quickly transformed into boys with the realization that the club had clinched the Frontier Northern. "We can relax a bit, for now anyway," said manager Andy Ward. "I'm proud of every guy in the room for what we've done this season." The club has a 94-41 record as they head towards the playoffs in search of their 3rd World Championship championship. Starting Pitcher Steve Cook said the team is happy to clinch what is the club's 30th division title, but "wouldn't be happy until we're lifting that trophy." |
